New York Hotel Offers Morning Show Package

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Many people visit New York City for the shopping, the arts or the sporting events, but now one hotel is hoping to attract those who come for the TV shows.

It’s called Flatotel and has just started offering a “TV Fun Package” for the tourists whose idea of a good time is being in the background of shows like The Today Show, Good Morning America or The Early Show.

For $289 a night, guests get a map of the TV studios, a brown- bagged breakfast – since the shows start filming at dawn – and some markers and posterboard to make a sign that will attract the eyes of the camera crew.

Admittedly, some of the shows start filming as early as 5 a.m., so if you can’t roll out of bed, there’s always MTV’s Total Request Live.

There is a catch: The TV fun package requires guests to stay from Thursday to Sunday and most of the morning shows only broadcast during the week.
