‘Reservoir Dogs’ Goes From DVD To Videogames

SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Quentin Tarantino’s 1992 film, Reservoir Dogs, was just a cult hit in theaters but it could soon become a blockbuster videogame.

The San Francisco-based Eidos software company will introduce a game version of the jewel-heist flick that includes key scenes from the movie as well as new scenes providing details that never made it in the original film.

An Eidos spokeswoman won’t say if players will get a chance to reenact the scene where Michael Madsen cuts off Tim Roth’s ear to the tune of “Stuck In The Middle With You” but admits the song plays a key role in the movie – and Madsen did do voiceover work for the game.

The Reservoir Dogs game will be officially unveiled next week at the 2006 Electronic Entertainment Expo which starts Wednesday (May 10) in Los Angeles and will hit stores sometime around October.
