Eliminated Idol Stevie Scott Sings Praises Of Opera

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Now that Stevie Scott has been eliminated from American Idol, she is singing the praises of her first love, opera.

Despite being kicked off, Scott hopes to use her appearance on the show to raise the profile of opera in the minds of young America.

As she puts it, “Culture is a beautiful thing and I think if opera is presented correctly, people my age would enjoy it.”

But while Scott is gung-ho for operatic singing, it’s not her only love. She hopes to record a gospel R&B record and is open to acting and modeling opportunities – as long as they aren’t from Maxim magazine.
