Tagworld.com, an integrated social web ecosystem a la Friendster or MySpace, has just launched a new contest promotion that gives members who design web pages on the site a chance to have their picture and Tagword URL placed on a billboard in their own home town.
Winning net nerds will be chosen based on the number of votes their website gets as well as its coolness factor among other criteria.
Company officials say the first billboards will start appearing anytime, anyplace in the next few weeks and one will be posted in Los Angeles on March 15.
Based on the response, Tagworld officials hope to put billboards up all over the country.
To sign up for the contest, log on to www.tagworld.com/billboard.
