Johnny Cash No. 1 On Dead Rock Star Chart

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Dying can be a great move if you’re a rock star. Just ask Johnny Cash, who has just been chosen the No. 1 “Most Awesomely Dead Rock Star” by Blender magazine.

Cash cashed out in 2003 but his stock is so high right now thanks to Walk The Line that producer Rick Rubin is using unreleased recordings with the Man In Black as collateral to renegotiate a record deal with Universal.

But Cash isn’t the only dead rock star who is making a killing.

Blender editors say The Notorious B.I.G.’s estate is still making “Mo Money” from his recordings and it should only get bigger thanks to the upcoming bio-pic being directed by Antoine Fuqua.

And, of course, Elvis Presley still makes a king’s ransom. In fact, he earns 10 to 20 times more dead than he did when he was alive.
