Sparks, Nevada Has The Loosest Slots In The Country

DANIA, Fla. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A gambling guide has released its annual list of where the loosest slots in America can be found, and this year Sparks, Nevada, wins the jackpot.

Steve Bourie, author of American Casino Guide (Casino Vacations), says in Nevada’s last fiscal year, the casinos in Sparks – a suburb of Reno – returned an average of 95.28 percent.

The city edged out casinos along the Boulder Strip corridor in Las Vegas, which returned 94.98 percent.

Comparatively, he says the overall average of the Las Vegas strip pays out 93.42 percent.

Meanwhile, the tightest slots can be found at the riverboat Casino Aztar in Caruthersville, Missouri, which paid out a measly 89.88 percent.

That’s nothing new. Bourie says the Aztar’s slots have been the stingiest for years.

Bourie says he’s never contacted the Casino Aztar to let them know they continually win the dubious honor, but in Bourie’s words, “I don’t think they’re interested. I have a feeling they probably know.”
