Man Auctions Off First Mortgage Sponsorship

REDFORD, Mich. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – If a person can auction their body parts for advertising space, why not auction their house too?

That’s exactly what a part-time marketing consultant in Redford, Michigan has done.

James Wilson has just ended an auction on eBay which he claims makes him the first person to have his mortgage paid for in exchange for advertising.

The website YourSecretConfession.com holds the winning bid and has agreed to pay Wilson $5,000 to cover his mortgage for six months, in exchange for placing ads on his website, SponsorMyMortage.com.

Besides the benefit of having his house payment made for him, Wilson says he did it to impress Martha Stewart in hopes that the domestic diva would turn to him for marketing ideas.

Wilson says he expects a lot of copycats in the next 24 hours, and he’s also checking into whether his city will allow him to paint a YourSecretConfession.com banner on his garage door.
