‘Three Wishes’ Has Constructed New Values For Show’s Carpenter

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – NBC’s upcoming reality show, Three Wishes, is focused on changing people’s lives but, so far, the biggest impact has been on Eric Stromer, the show’s carpenter.

Stromer – who has worked on shows like Clean Sweep and Trading Spaces: Family – just spent last week in the Gulf Coast helping the relief efforts for Hurricane Katrina and says the experience has reminded him what is most important in life.

As he puts it, “There’s a tendency to focus on attaining material goods and when you wading through five feet of water helping people who’ve lost their homes, you start thinking, ‘Maybe I don’t need another room addition.’”

Three Wishes debuts tomorrow (Sep. 23) and while Stromer figures Hurricanes Katrina and Rita will be a major focus of future shows, he says that show producers will also be sending him and host Amy Grant to other places because, as he puts it, “You can walk down the street anywhere and find people who need help.”
