‘Jesus Loves You’ Sandals Leaving Their Mark

TAMPA BAY, Fla. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A Tampa woman is trying to help people walk in Jesus’ footsteps with some impressionable footwear.

Kathleen Farrell has footed the bill to create sandals and boots with the word “Jesus” on the bottom of one shoe and “Loves You” on the other, which are leaving their marks on sand and dirt across the world.

More than 20,000 sales have been crossed off since the inspirational shoes became available at shoesofthefisherman.com a few years ago.

Farrell came up with the idea after being kidnapped in college. During her captivity, she repeated the 23rd Psalm out loud, and believes it saved her life.

Now she wants to spread God’s love and says the biggest thrill for her is walking on the beach and seeing someone who left behind the impression “Jesus Loves You” in the sand.
