‘Sopranos’ Actor Takes Bite Out Of Restaurant Biz For A Day

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Actor John Ventimigilia – who plays restaurant owner Artie Bucco on The Sopranos – won’t be just playing the part tomorrow (Jun. 21).

Ventimigilia will be taking time from shooting Sopranos episodes in New York to be at the Italian restaurant Doug Argano’s in Hollywood.

He’ll be taking orders and serving food to promote a Mastercard giveaway called “Lunch for a Lifetime,” which will give one lucky card user free lunch for life.

This isn’t the first time Ventimigilia’s character has been capitalized on in the food industry. HBO previously used his character to sell a line of pasta sauces and cookbooks.
