Expert Claims Sci Fi Channel Is Full Of Subliminal Ads

SAN JOSE, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A California-based subliminal advertising expert claims he’s found evidence of subliminal messages in satellite transmissions from the Sci Fi Channel.

August Bullock says the messages were first brought to his attention by a Sci Fi viewer who digitally recorded several programs and noticed the ads while removing the commercials.

Bullock slowed down the digital recording and found 11 ads for products like Mr. Clean, Dell computers and Progressive Insurance flashing too fast for the human eye to see during commercial breaks.

The four-and-a-half hour block of video analyzed by Bullock comes from programs recorded on three different days in January and February 2005.

Sci Fi Channel representatives did not return reporters’ calls, but Bullock says the ads seem “awfully odd, but subliminal ads have been used in the past.”
