Global Marijuana March On Fire

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Pot smokers around the world will replace their bongs and pipes on Saturday (May 7) with picket signs.

That’s because the 6th Annual Global Marijuana March is taking place that day and weedheads in 187 cities worldwide will be holding reefer rallies and pot protests to criticize marijuana prohibition.

Organizer Dana Beal says the event is “a protest, not a pot fest,” and events will differ from place to place. For instance, celebrity stoners in Budapest, Hungary, will turn themselves in for using cannabis while potheads in London will probably just smoke up a storm.

He figures Prague in the Czech Republic will have the largest rally while San Diego will have the smallest.

Beal says all Marches will emphasize the need to replace tobacco with marijuana and increasing the availability of Ibogaine, a natural substance that reportedly reduces cravings for hard drugs like cocaine and methamphetamine.

In addition, Beal wants to shed light on programs that conserve water and fuel by using hemp plants for paper and energy instead of trees and petroleum.
