Mrs. Bates Wins ‘Most Mixed-Up Movie Mom’ Poll

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Jane Fonda’s role in Monster-In-Law leaves something to be desired if a new poll is any indication.

The movie ticketing website Fandango.com polled film fans and found that Mrs. Bates from Psycho is considered the “most mixed-up movie mom” of all time; carving out 28 percent of the votes.

Meanwhile, Faye Dunaway’s portrayal of Joan Crawford in Mommie Dearest came in a close second with 23 percent of the votes.

Stifler’s Mom in American Pie took third place with 18 percent of the votes.

The least mixed-up mom in the survey was Mrs. Robinson, the mom played by Anne Bancroft in The Graduate, with only six percent thinking she was “mixed-up.”
