On June 4, Juliens Auctions in Los Angeles will auction off some rare Monroe memorabilia that has been in storage since the actress died in August 1962 including jars of her makeup and other beauty products.
The cosmetics are expected to sell for up to $500, while the original papers that officially divorced Monroe from Joe DiMaggio could net at least $10,000.
Other up-close-and-personal items for sale include Monroes private telephone directory, which lists numbers for Henry Fonda and Frank Sinatra as well as DiMaggio and her other hubby, playwright Arthur Miller. It has an estimated value of $10,000.
Finally, the most personal item up for sale is a watercolor of a red rose that Monroe painted for President John F. Kennedy for his birthday. The painting is worth $10,000 but, sadly, she died before she could give it to him.
