Taylor Dayne Will Always Love A Singing Career

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Singer Taylor Dayne is known for late 1980s hits like “I’ll Always Love You” and “Tell It To My Heart” but she may soon make a comeback a la Santana thanks to VH-1.

The cable channel recently introduced Dayne to producers, stylists and personal trainers for the latest installment of its series, Remaking, which gives stars from the past a second chance at a high profile.

Dayne might have peaked during the first Bush presidency but she doesn’t consider the show a comeback attempt because she’s “never gone away.”

She views the VH-1 special as “an opportunity to get back in the public’s face since the channel will rerun it constantly.”

Dayne refused to have a plastic surgeon “slice and dice” her and says her biggest challenge during the makeover was “being judged while you’re on camera.”

Remaking: Taylor Dayne debuts Thursday (Apr. 21) and she hopes to hit the charts with “Right Now,” a single written for the special by hit producer Rodney Jenkins.
