Bottle Cap Fishing Lures Make Capital Idea

SHERBROOKE, Quebec (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A fishing lure company is trying to put a cap on pollution by having folks send them old bottle caps.

Norm Price is the CEO of The Original Bottle Cap Lure Company, Ltd., a company which makes fishing lures out of caps.

He’s launching a recycling campaign which he claims is the biggest in the world, mainly getting beer and soda companies to start recycling the caps to their products.

You’d think most people would be in favor of reusing bottle caps but Price says companies like Coca Cola actually cause a bottle neck in his work by telling him he can’t sell bottle caps with their logo.

Instead, Price says he got the Coke heads to put a cork in it by shaming them for not recycling their caps.

So far he’s collected about 5 million caps, with a little help from the Boy Scouts, but says he’s always looking for more.
