The one-minute-long movie was made in 1967 by researcher Roger Patterson and while there are many Sasquatch skeptics, the author of a new book about the footage says nearly 40 years of analysis has done nothing to disprove the films validity instead it has enhanced it.
Chris Murphy, author of The Bigfoot Film Conspiracy (Hancock House), says all sorts of experts have looked at the film frame-by-frame and the verdict is that while its possible the footage is hoaxed, its not probable.
Many Hollywood special effects experts whove viewed the film tell Murphy the Bigfoot in the Patterson film looks too real and is too good to fake.
Although Murphy believes the Patterson film is likely real, its nearly 40 years old so Murphy says a massive two-month expedition of the Pacific Northwest is needed to corroborate the evidence in the footage and prove the creatures existence.
