New Book Gives New Look At Bigfoot Film

VANCOUVER, B.C. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – This year marks the 38th anniversary of “The Patterson Film,” which many Sasquatch researchers believe is the most startling evidence of Bigfoot yet.

The one-minute-long movie was made in 1967 by researcher Roger Patterson and while there are many Sasquatch skeptics, the author of a new book about the footage says nearly 40 years of analysis has done nothing to disprove the film’s validity – instead it has enhanced it.

Chris Murphy, author of The Bigfoot Film Conspiracy (Hancock House), says all sorts of experts have looked at the film frame-by-frame and the verdict is that while it’s possible the footage is hoaxed, “it’s not probable.”

Many Hollywood special effects experts who’ve viewed the film tell Murphy the Bigfoot in the Patterson film “looks too real and is too good to fake.”

Although Murphy believes the Patterson film is likely real, it’s nearly 40 years old so Murphy says a massive two-month expedition of the Pacific Northwest is needed to corroborate the evidence in the footage and prove the creature’s existence.
