$100K For Valentine’s Day Weekend Getaway!?!

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Can’t buy me love? Don’t tell that to the folks who run Le Parker Meridien hotels: They’re promoting a $100K weekend package for Valentine’s Day.

For the hefty price tag, one couple will be flown by private jet to the company’s hotels in Palm Springs and New York and indulged with spa pampering, fancy meals and private music performances.

For starters, they’ll be rubbed down with real gold in a series of spa treatments at the Le Parker Meridien Palm Springs resort, where they’ll stay in a house that once belonged to Gene Autry.

A dinner presented by the resort’s head chef and accompanied by a string quartet ends the day, and the next morning the couple jets to New York for a helicopter tour of the city and a stay in the Le Parker Meridien New York’s Presidential suite.

A breakfast in bed of frittatas which each contain 10 ounces of caviar is followed by a shopping spree on Fifth Ave and dinner for two with a five-piece jazz band.

No one has booked the deal yet, but a spokesman says if there are no takers for Valentine’s Day, the three-day package will be offered on other upcoming weekends.
