John Quincy Adams Was A Stud

PHILADELPHIA (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Sixth president John Quincy Adams wasn’t one of the Founding Fathers, but he was pretty good at fathering children.

According to the kiddie president guide, The New Big Book of U.S. Presidents, Adams wife, Louisa, was pregnant 19 times in 22 years of the couple’s marriage.

But while the president and his wife had no problems conceiving children, sadly, only four of their kids survived to adulthood.

Other presidential trivia...

  • When he was 20, 41st president Bill Clinton integrated a whites-only swimming pool in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

  • Fourth president James Madison stood 5 foot 4 and only weighed 100 pounds.

  • Finally, 18th president Ulysses S. Grant once got a speeding ticket for riding his horse too fast.
