The so-called NHL Ice Crusher is a fist-sized, clear, fake ice chunk with a teams hockey logo engraved on it and a flattened rival player etched on the bottom. Its meant to be smashed against any hard surface.
Product inventor Dennis Radosevich says he made the novelty item so fans can put the smackdown on their hated rivals since the actual hockey players cant right now.
So far it only comes in Detroit Red Wings and Colorado Avalanche versions, but Radosevich says more teams will be added in the future.
The former goalie believes the ice crushers which are available at teachersoverstock.com for $19.99 will sell like hotcakes since people are hungry for anything hockey right now.
