Director Helps Incubus Go Improv

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Being a musician is no laughing matter but that might change if the members of Incubus have their way.

The rock group is currently working with director Vanessa Parise to create a scripted improv series like Arrested Development.

Parise says the situations will be based on real-life incidents in the life of Incubus bass player Alex Kutinich and figures she’ll interview members of other bands and edit those conversations into various scenes.

In her words, “We’ll really be blurring the line between reality and fiction.”

So far, the Incubus-oriented comedy show has no release date and Parise figures she won’t go forward on it until after the release of her next movie, Kiss The Bride, a romantic comedy featuring Alyssa Milano and former Melrose Place star Brooke Langton that will be released on DVD Feb. 8.
