Cougars have been getting a lot of coverage, but their hairy- chested counterparts – “manthers” – deserve some appreciation, and wildmanther.com is giving them their moment in the sun.

The site pays homage to the musky lotharios who turn women’s knees to jelly with their style, flashy cars, and flowing chest rug.

Site creator Nina Tooley says manthers are the ultimate playboys and can be spotted in dark steakhouses “surrounded by girls in mini skirts,” imbibing the finest scotch whiskey.

She says their independence and suave moves guarantee them the affection of much younger women, which is why most men find them “aspirational.”

But filling a manther’s white loafers takes money, the application of musk oil in the right places, a thick moustache, and lots of charisma.

Wannabes should look to George Clooney, Larry King, and “gay manther” Karl Lagerfeld for inspiration.
