Marriages Best After Three Years
Wednesday, March 3, 2010 17:14 GMT
LONDON (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) It takes about three years for a married couple to be at their happiest.According to a study by the British wedding website confetti.co.uk, marriages are at their best two years, 11 months, and eight days after that walk down the aisle.
Husbands and wives pinpoint this as the time they begin to feel totally comfortable with each others bad habits.
At this stage, they enjoy a full and active sex life, can make each other laugh, and regularly cuddle in front of the TV.
They also learn to make small gestures, like offering to cook dinner or do the dishes.
But marital bliss doesnt happen magically.
Research shows that the happiest couples spend at least 24 minutes having a heart-to-heart each day, text each other at work four times a day, and say I love you consistently.
Husbands should also compliment their wives twice a day.
