`Tool' Therapist Encourages Tantrums

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One TV therapist thinks there’s a lot to be said for a good, old-fashioned hissy fit.Trina Dolenz turns jerks into gentlemen as the therapist on Tool Academy, premiering its third season this Sunday (Feb. 14) on VH1.
This time, she also has a couple of “toolettes” – female tools – as students, which led to more meltdowns than usual.
Dolenz says jealousy was a major issue, and doors were slammed, fists were swung, and many things were broken during filming.
Despite the wrecked props, Dolenz says the temper tantrums were a healthy way for her students to release their anger.
She didn’t mind because, in her words, “They weren’t at my house!”
The ride was so rocky this season, Dolenz admits she came home from work exhausted and moody like never before.
However, she managed to suppress the stress in front of the cameras and remain calm so she could help the real tools move forward.
