NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Look! Up in the sky! It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a giant flying condom!A 120-foot-long helium rubber named “Condomfiere” will fly through five continents and 100 cities to promote safe sex – and give people rides, if they’re willing to board the three-seat prophylactic.
AOL Senior Correspondent Buck Wolf details the journey of what’s being called the “Goodyear Blimp of STD awareness.”
He explains, “This flying condom is more than twice the size of most floats in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, so it will make an impact. The French plan to take it to Vienna this June for a gathering of health leaders and then launch it on World AIDS Day.”
For the next few weeks, the giant condom will be on display at the Palais de la Decouverte museum in Paris where it is far too huge to be practical, even for the largest dinosaur.
