According to a study by Herbalife, 50 percent of gals in the U.K. will buy a Christmas party dress thats one size too small, hoping to shed a few pounds before the big office holiday bash.
However, only 50 percent will manage to lose enough weight to squeeze into it, while 50 percent will leave it in the closet or return it.
About 40 percent of those who stuff themselves into their party dress will need help with the zipper.
Most women hope to lose around 11 pounds before Christmas, and 80 percent think diets are more successful when they have something to aim for, like a holiday party.
Six out of 10 gals want to lose weight to boost their confidence and 13 percent slim down to impress a man.
Realistically, with all the holiday treats, the average woman puts on seven pounds giving into Christmas temptations.
