Movie Buffs Drawn To Challenge

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Movie buffs looking for a brainteaser are being drawn to a challenge.

Illustrator Paul Rogers has created an online game called Name That Movie, in which he draws six memorable objects, moments, or sceneries from a movie. Web surfers then guess what flick they’re from.

For example, Quentin Tarantino fans may recognize a cup from Big Kahuna burger, a gold watch, and the Hawthorne Grill from the cult classic, Pulp Fiction.

Rogers draws moments and props from recognizable blockbusters like Titanic along with scenes from more obscure films like La Dolce Vita so movie newbies and hardcore buffs can equally test their knowledge.

He’s looking to put his work into a book but is adamant about not wanting his drawings used to quiz moviegoers before opening credits at the theater.

He says, “I hate those things. They seem kind of lame.”
