PEZ Is Pissed

OXFORD, Conn. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A business owner in Oxford, Connecticut, is seeing the bitter side of PEZ.

Emil Vicale runs, a company that makes pop culture and political action figures.

Until recently, he also made custom candy dispensers of people’s heads on PEZ bases, selling them for $300 a pop.

PEZ sued the tiny company for trademark infringement, but their sour grapes won’t stop Vicale.

He’s decided to create an all-new line of customizable candy dispensers – minus the PEZ bases – which will debut next year.

Vicale says his modern dispensers will be “bigger, better, and more fabulous” than the cheap, old-school PEZ made in China.

They’ll also have tastier candy inside – no chalky sweets – better mechanics, and will be manufactured in America, not by “Communists.”

He figures his candy holder will actually appeal to people of “this century” who enjoy buying innovative, quirky products.
