Doodles Reveal Deep Thoughts

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The random doodles people sketch may be a window into their minds.

That’s what Stephanie Romanski contemplates on, where people submit doodles they sketch while bored at work or school.

Though most entries are simple squiggles, lines, and funny stick figures, some artsy types send in drawings that leave Romanski questioning a person’s sanity.

She says, “We’ve wondered what the doodles say about a person. They’re very personal. It’d be interesting if a university studied them.”

Though a doodle of a man with sharp knives may indicate someone is clinically insane, Romanski argues they may “just have a headache.”

She assures she won’t turn down freaky doodles so long as they aren’t so artistic that they look like “beautiful pieces that can be framed” because then they aren’t quite doodles so much as drawings.
