TripAdvisor has just compiled a list of America’s Wackiest Attractions, and Texas is tops for the weird and unusual.
For instance, there’s the Toilet Seat Museum in Alamo Heights, Texas, that’s adorned with more than 700 decorated toilet seat lids. Oddly enough, this potty palace doesn’t have a bathroom.
Then there’s the Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, Texas, which features 10 graffiti-covered Cadillacs sticking out of the ground. Here, visitors are welcome to spray paint the Caddies themselves.
Paris, Texas, fittingly boasts an Eiffel Tower attraction of its own. However, this stateside version is only 65 feet tall and topped with a cowboy hat.
Other quirky attractions include the Pez Memorabilia Museum in Burlingame, California, which houses the world’s largest Pez dispenser – a 10-inch-tall snowman – and Gatorland in Orlando, Florida, where folks can feed raw hot dogs to about 1,000 alligators.
