Artist Kevin Cyr mixes bikes with hikes with Camper Bike, a functional sculpture he created that features a modified, 70s style camper thats been sized down and attached to a vintage Chinese bicycle.
Cyr built the bike in China where he was inspired by local cyclists after seeing working class guys peddling a three- wheeled bicycle with a bunch of stuff attached to it around town.
With his bike, he hopes to get the Chinese interested in camping since its not a big activity in the country.
While Cyr admits the Camper Bike may not be suitable for curvy trails, he believes that with a few efficient modifications, eccentric people might find it useful for camping.
Rather than cramming into a traditional tent, campers can shack up right behind the bike.
