Custom bike company Metrofiets in Portland, Oregon, builds vintage-style bicycles with a modern twist.
They add boxes and small platforms that sit between the rider and the front wheel where people can hop on for a comfy cruise.
The platforms can also carry anything that needs to be hauled, like couches, washing machines, or stoves.
But the apple of Metrofiets co-owner Phillip Ross eye is their Beer Bike, which was custom built for a local brewery and holds two kegs chilled in 25 pounds of ice, a stereo system, a bar area that stands 42 inches off the ground, and a rack to hold a stack of pizzas.
Ross calls the bike a mobile party machine and says it makes people react as if theyve taken a happy pill.
