People Stalk Pandas

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Panda voyeurs can finally get their fill of cuddly cuteness.

The World Famous San Diego Zoo now has a 24-hour Panda Cam, a live stream of the pandas living at the zoo, including a newborn baby bear.

Spokesperson Damien Lasater says visitors to the webcam page average over an hour watching the bears, often leaving the live stream running on their computer desktops at work so they can fill their “cute quota of the day.”

He believes people watch the pandas non-stop because they’re so darn adorable and also because they want to “be as close to the pandas as they can and just take a look at what they do all day,” especially since they’re such rare and endangered animals.

So far, viewers have been treated to pandas playing, eating, and the new baby panda finally getting its spots.
