Celebs Put In Hard Labor

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Celebrities have money and fame now, but back in the day, they labored hard like the rest of us.

This Labor Day (Sep. 7), Johnny Depp, Tom Cruise, and Robin Williams will be happy they’re not clocking in at their old jobs.

Before his breakthrough role in Nightmare On Elm Street, Johnny Depp was an over-the-phone pen salesman.

Tom Cruise was a paperboy for the Louisville Courier- Journal in Kentucky, and Robin Williams was a mime in New York City, but hated the job because little kids would constantly kick him.

The Office star Rainn Wilson was a receptionist at an ad agency in NYC and later a delivery driver for a marine supply company.

However, Wilson admits he was pretty bad at the driving gig since he got in “car accidents and lost stuff” repeatedly on the job.

Dan Aykroyd was a mail sorter for Canada’s National Postal Service and former Secretary Of State Madeleine Albright sold bras at a department store.
