The Art Of Pranking

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Like art, there are certain classics in pranking that never get old.

Just ask Streeter Seidell, co-host of Pranked, a new series premiering Thursday (Aug. 27) on MTV featuring the best pranks caught on tape.

According to Seidell, a pro trickster who’s currently in an epic “Prank War” with his best friend, any pranks that involve angry dads or people getting hit with big exercise balls have staying power.

Also, anything that causes total embarrassment for an unsuspecting victim “has legs,” like the time Seidell duped his friend into thinking he’d won $500,000 during a Maryland basketball game in front of 18,000 people.

In the end, Seidell says the art of pranking is about range.

That could mean something as simple as dumping water on a victim to more elaborate, bizarre pranks like a guy in France who dressed up as an astronaut and distracted swingers at a golf course.
