Don’t Talk Trash To Kids On Links

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – There are some things a kid just doesn’t want to hear on the golf course.

Parents hoping to turn their kids into the next Tiger Woods need to watch their mouths, because their words can affect a child’s promise on the putting green.

To help keep overbearing parents in check, PGA golf instructor Scott Seifferlein has created a YouTube video that reveals the things parents shouldn’t say to a kid on the links.

Along with faulty advice, like telling a kid to keep their head down, Seifferlein says parents shouldn’t bombard their tiny golf prodigies with too many tips for teeing off.

He explains, “I saw a parent on the range telling their kid to do a million things at once. Parents don’t know how to keep it simple.”

By getting on their kid’s case, Seifferlein says parents “burn them out” on golf, especially because kids don’t like learning from their parents anyway.
