Parents hoping to turn their kids into the next Tiger Woods need to watch their mouths, because their words can affect a childs promise on the putting green.
To help keep overbearing parents in check, PGA golf instructor Scott Seifferlein has created a YouTube video that reveals the things parents shouldnt say to a kid on the links.
Along with faulty advice, like telling a kid to keep their head down, Seifferlein says parents shouldnt bombard their tiny golf prodigies with too many tips for teeing off.
He explains, I saw a parent on the range telling their kid to do a million things at once. Parents dont know how to keep it simple.
By getting on their kids case, Seifferlein says parents burn them out on golf, especially because kids dont like learning from their parents anyway.
