Folks will go gaga at the National Baby Food Festival in Fremont, Michigan, tomorrow (Jul. 22) through Saturday (Jul. 25), where adults will compete in a baby food eating contest.
Blindfolded grown-ups feed jars of baby food to their partners, with the fastest feeder winning a years worth of Pizza Hut pizzas.
According to spokesperson Lina Strong, not only do the adult participants eat like babies, but they often act like whining tots when their competitiveness starts kicking in.
She says teams get really intense and turn into brats if the baby food isnt positioned to their liking or if the spoon isnt right for them.
Strong explains, They mean business. Theyre really detailed about what they want.
Though they may not throw a crying, kicking tantrum, participants can get huffy with organizers, but judges dont hold it against them.
