Adults Can Be Such Big Babies

FREMONT, Mich. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Adults can be such big babies, especially at one Michigan festival.

Folks will go gaga at the National Baby Food Festival in Fremont, Michigan, tomorrow (Jul. 22) through Saturday (Jul. 25), where adults will compete in a baby food eating contest.

Blindfolded grown-ups feed jars of baby food to their partners, with the fastest feeder winning a years’ worth of Pizza Hut pizzas.

According to spokesperson Lina Strong, not only do the adult participants eat like babies, but they often act like whining tots when their competitiveness starts kicking in.

She says teams get “really intense” and turn into brats if the baby food isn’t positioned to their liking or if the spoon isn’t right for them.

Strong explains, “They mean business. They’re really detailed about what they want.”

Though they may not throw a crying, kicking tantrum, participants can get huffy with organizers, but judges don’t hold it against them.
