Buck Wolf’s Weird News Central: Jackson’s First Jewish Experience

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Think you’ve heard it all about Michael Jackson? Did you know he loved bagels?

At least he did back in 1999, when he went to a New York synagogue just to see what it was like.

Buck Wolf of’s Weird News Central was invited to sit with Jackson and his entourage at the Carlebach Shul.

He recalls, “I walked in and there he was, in a black fedora, iridescent tie, and red silk shirt, sitting among some of New York City’s most orthodox Jews.”

Jacko spent most the evening staring at a prayerbook and mouthing the words as if he could read Hebrew.

His handlers were adamant in saying that the King of Pop wasn’t converting, he just wanted to experience a Jewish worship.

Wolf adds, “It was one of the most surreal nights of my life. Jackson was the only African-American in the temple, yet he was clearly the whitest guy there.”
