That’s according to funnyman Reno Collier, who hosts the cross-country reality show Greatest American Roadtrip, premiering July 7 on NBC.
As an only child, Collier would entertain himself on road trips by staring out the window and “fake shooting at truckers” with his fingers in the shape of a gun.
He’d also make truckers honk their horns and play license plate spotting games with his parents to make time on the road fly by.
As a touring comedian, Collier has continued taking road trips as an adult, though being on a tour bus with acts like Larry The Cable Guy isn’t as wild as it sounds.
Collier admits they’re far too “chubby and tired” to party during their trips and would’ve been crazier on the road 10 years ago.
Now, he says all you’ll find on their bus is the duo passed out next to empty pizza boxes.
