Winokur hosts Dance Your Ass Off, premiering tonight (Jun. 29) on Oxygen, where overweight guys and gals shed pounds with the help of professional dancers.
Dance styles on the show include ballroom, hip-hop, and even pole dancing, which Winokur says is pure hell on your body.
She attempted to take a class alongside contestants and only lasted 15 minutes before her arms gave out, proving that pole dancing is serious exercise.
Winokur says the jive and quickstep are also good, painful workouts. In fact, she lost the most weight while learning the jive on Dancing With The Stars in 2008.
She says dancing doesnt feel like working out because its so fun especially if the right music is playing.
Because shes a Broadway gal, Winokur admits her favorite songs to dance to are cheesy show tunes and anything inspirational from the likes of Queen, Cher, or Meat Loaf.
