Harry Chapin’s “Cat’s In The Cradle” features the cruel chorus: When you comin’ home, Dad?/ I don’t know when, we’ll get together then.
Country crooner Billy Currington’s song about a stumbling, alcoholic father should also be avoided, since lyrics include: When he got home at night/ He’d pass me by to pass out in his chair.
