Baseball Has Gone To The Veggie Dogs
WASHINGTON, D.C. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) Luckily for vegetarians,
hot dogs arent the only snack option at ballparks anymore.
PETA has just compiled a list of the Top 10 Most Veg-Friendly
Ballparks across the country where baseball buffs can chow down
on everything from veggie dogs and garden burgers, to salads and
PB&J sandwiches.
Top sluggers include...
Citizens Bank Park, home to the Philadelphia
Phillies, offers black bean burgers and faux crab
cake salads among their various vegetarian selections,
making it a hit with PETA.
AT&T Park, home to the San Francisco Giants, hits
a home run with their portobello mushroom sandwiches, grilled
corn on the cob, edamame, and veggie pot stickers.
The Atlanta Braves Turner Field boasts a
farmers market fruit and vegetable stand.
PETCO Park, where the San Diego Padres play ball,
offers a lineup of veggie dogs, veggie burgers, gourmet salads,
and PB&J sandwiches.
The Detroit Tigers Comerica Park serves
vegetable stir-fry, meatless taco salads, and veggie wraps.
