According to astrologer Shelley Ackerman, Allen’s underdog victory can be attributed to the alignment of planets in outer space.
Right now Jupiter, Neptune, and planetoid Chiron are all in alignment in the sign of Aquarius, meaning there’s a “huge push to heal the masses in society.”
Ackerman figures there’s no better way to “heal the masses” and inspire humanity than to have a dark horse like Allen come out on top.
She says the astrological alignment spurs the “redemption of the underdog,” which explains why Allen and people like Britian’s Got Talent singer Susan Boyle have been popular with the public lately.
Ackerman believes the alignment is so powerful, Idol judge Simon Cowell may even “find religion” from it.
Additionally, Ackerman says Allen’s birth chart indicates that he has serious staying power as a musician.
