Buck News Weird News Central: Hookers Vow To Overcome Craigslist Killer

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The world’s oldest profession isn’t taking the recent Craigslist controversy lying down.

The website is making big changes after the arrest of “Craigslist Killer” Philip Markoff, who faces murder and assault charges.

Craigslist has decided to ditch its “Erotic Services” section and replace it with an “adult services” category, which the site’s staff will heavily monitor for illegal activity.’s Weird News Central reporter Buck Wolf has talked with several prostitutes and they all agree this may affect how they drum up business.

According to Wolf, the women use Craigslist to solicit customers, but now they’ll just have to be more subtle in the way they advertise.

One hooker tells Wolf: “It’s really just back to basics. The first thing you learn is how to put an idea into a guy’s head without getting arrested.”

Still, the question remains of whether or not Craigslist’s staff of 30 will really be able to police their new adult section.
