Model Gets Short End Of The Stick

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Good things come in small packages, not old packages.

So says Fo Porter, who was given the boot from America’s Next Top Model on Wednesday (Apr. 29) for being too short.

Porter says she believes Tyra Banks and her panel of judges were just looking for any excuse to get rid of her.

She says, “To be told the reason I was leaving was because I was too short hit me hard. They just nitpicked at the end. I mean [fellow contestant] Celia is older and I’m short. I can put on a pair of heels and be six-one, but she needs a ton of makeup to look young.”

Despite her disappointment, Porter says she looks forward to continuing her modeling career and thinks she has the right name to get ahead.

She explains, “My name is memorable. I definitely won’t be forgotten with a name like Fo.”

Top Model airs Wednesdays on the CW.
