Pickled Quail Egg King Defeats Again

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The pickled quail egg king of Texas can’t stop swallowing the competition.

This past Saturday (Apr. 5), 56-year-old Lester Tucker defeated his opponents at the 34th Annual Pickled Quail Egg Eating Contest in Grand Prairie, Texas, retaining his crown for the 14th straight year.

Tucker, who’s won the chowing challenge 18 times in total, feels “pretty good” about his 38 eggs in 60 seconds victory, and humbly accepts that when it comes to pickled quail eggs, he’s unstoppable.

He says, “I don’t know if it’s a good thing that I’m so good at this, but it’s always good to be good at something. I just have a natural talent for it.”

Tucker explains that having a gift for gorging is one thing, but it’s his years of experience that keep him from panicking when it’s game time.

Though many have tried to beat him, including his own son, Tucker says they all have a shot when he retires, which he’ll do when someone actually manages to de-throne him.
