The World Famous Suicide Table at the Delta Saloon was held responsible for the tragic suicides of three men back in the 1800s, but hasnt claimed another victim since then.
Thats because the killer table, on which gamblers lost their livelihoods playing cards back in the day, was removed from use in order to save lives.
Bill Blanchard, general manager of the Delta Saloon, says, If theres no more table, nobody loses money, so nobody gets despondent, and nobody kills themselves.
The cursed table is now on display at the saloon, and Blanchard assures no one fears its dark power.
However, keeping people from playing on it hasnt stopped anyone from taking their lives.
Blanchard says, People still lose their money and kill themselves. Theres plenty of ways to lose your money, and plenty of ways to kill yourself.
