‘Biggest Loser’ Actually Requires Exercise

MESA, Ariz. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Apparently, competing on The Biggest Loser actually does require hours of intense exercise.

That’s the surprising thing Blaine Cotter, who was voted off the weight loss competition this past Tuesday (Feb. 10), discovered while on The Biggest Loser: Couples.

Cotter admits that he went in with “not a whole lot of ideas about what it was going to be like” since he has never followed the show’s past seasons.

He says, “I didn’t know what to expect. I didn’t really think we would be working out all day, but they really meant ALL day.”

Despite the overwhelming workouts and tough-as-nails trainers, Cotter is “grateful” for the time he spent on the ranch and now sees the advantages to total weight loss isolation.

He explains, “Being on the ranch is easy. It’s easy to lose weight there, but being at home trying to lose weight, that’s what’s hard.”

The Biggest Loser airs Tuesdays on NBC.
