Americans Overseas Desperate For Inauguration Info

BERNE, Switzerland (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Americans who live overseas are jonesin’ for the latest Inauguration Day (Jan. 20) info.

In the States, Americans have been inundated with news of Barack Obama’s big day for quite sometime, but overseas, quality information is harder to come by.

America.com – a site read by most of the 100,000 Americans in Europe – is providing up-to-the-minute news and videos of the historical happenings surrounding Obama’s oath ceremony.

The site serves as a tool for homesick Americans overseas who don’t want to miss anything happening in the homeland.

Currently, the site is seeking videos and photos of inauguration festivities, and even footage of snow in Washington, D.C., to bring Americans overseas closer to the historical day.

Visitors are swarming america.com via cyber chat lines to celebrate, writing blogs on the site, and searching for everything Obama.
