Soda Machine Saves The Planet

CHERRY HILL, N.J. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Drinking homemade soda can save the world.

Instead of buying canned or bottled sodas, which create pollution, Soda Club USA has created the Sodastream, an in-home soda and seltzer making gadget.

By mixing regular tap water and special packaged flavors available on, the Sodastream concocts fizzy pops comparable to Mountain Dew, Coke, Dr. Pepper, and Red Bull.

But according to spokesperson Kristin Harp, the impact the Sodastream can have on the environment is what really makes it refreshing.

She says, “It needs no batteries or electricity. All you need is nice, cold water. If everyone had a Sodastream, the impact would be tremendous. We could save six pounds of carbon per person per week.”

Harp’s research shows that each American consumes 212 liters of soda a year and adds, “That’s a huge amount of bottles and cans piling up in landfills.”

With the Sodastream, Harp believes Americans can restore the Ozone and improve air quality for the world.
